Maris Multimedia Ltd Demo disc. Readme information.
This folder contains two demo programs, both of which use QuickTime
technology.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE QUICKTIME INSTALLED ON YOUR SYSTEM
If you use an Apple Macintosh, copy the QuickTime extension to the System Folder on your hard disk. For Power Macintosh computers you should also copy the QuickTime PowerPlug extension to your System Folder. Restart the computer.
If you use a Windows PC, the QuickTime for Windows installer is in the \QTSETUP directory on your CD-ROM. To install from the Windows Program Manager, select Run from the File menu, then type x:\QTSETUP\SETUP.EXE and press return (x: = the drive letter of your CD-ROM.)
Follow the instructions given for the installation of QuickTime.
Once you have installed QuickTime for Windows, the demonstration programs are in the following directories on the CD-ROM:
RedShift x:\DEMO\RedDEMO\REDSHIFT.EXE
How Animals Move x:\DEMO\AnimDEMO\HOWAM.EXE
Where x: is the drive letter of your CD-ROM.
To run these programs from the Program Manager, select Run from the File menu and type the path and the file name as above. Alternatively create a new program manager group and add the files to this.
